What data we collect and why

Data you provide directly

When you use our contact forms or the Find Your Path tool, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (if you request a callback)
• The context you share about your situation (message field)
• Your preferred callback time window

We use this data to respond to your enquiry, assess whether ApexTax can help you, and follow up as part of our client intake process. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form.

Data collected automatically

When you visit apextax.co, we collect usage data through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and approximate location derived from anonymised IP address. This data is collected via cookies and is used to understand how visitors interact with the site and improve its content.

The legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent, which you provide via the cookie banner when you first visit the site.

Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party services that may process your personal data:

All transfers to the United States are made under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as provided by the European Commission.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with any other third parties except where required by law.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiry data (name, email, phone, message): retained for up to 24 months from the date of your last contact with us, then deleted.
• Analytics data: retained as per Google Analytics default settings (up to 14 months).
